In his new historial epic, director Ridley Scott shows us Napoleon’s (played by Joaquin Phoenix) unstoppable rise to power through his addictive, volatile relationship with Josephine (played by Vanessa Kirby), his one true love, and introduces us to some of the most dynamic war scenes ever filmed, with Napoleon’s sophisticated military and political strategies.
